Circuits

This shows the circuits gates that I made on cedar logic.
These are the AND, OR, NAND, and the NOR gate.

These are the XOR gates. That are only made with AND, OR, and NAND gates.

Soldering

For soldering we made a robot pin that has light up eyes.

And as you can see above is the robot pin we made.

Week 6

Today in class we are going to go to Intel to see what and how they make what they make. Also we had learned that a transistor is a switch that can be put into a "wafer". According to the Moore's Law in 2014 we have more than1 billion transistors in a CPU chip. In the Intel processor there are 1.72 billion transistors. Which is a lot of transistors in small chip.

Also we learned what a semi-conductor is and what it does. Semi-conductors are materials which have electrical conductivity that are between that of a conductor (such as copper) and that of an insulator (such as glass). They are also the key materials used for transistors and modern technology.
