Today my class and I did programming in Alice
a programming application where you can create many
diffrent worlds with many combinations of characters
to move aorund and do what you tell it to do.
In class today I programmed my character to ride a
skateboard in a skatepark I built with diffrent ramps.
I was not able to get the skatboarder to go up the ramp
but I got the skateboard and the skateboarder to move
in the same direction. If I had more time then I would have
figured out how to make the rider go up the ramp.
Today in class I worked on making a soccer field with
the application sketch up that has already been built into
my computer. It is a 3D animation app used for creating
buildings blueprints and is also used for sketching out
the design for a car to get the full 3D view once it is
complete.
This is a picture of a creation I made using sketch up
in my computer science class. I had some bumps along the road
of making my layout but I only managed to get over some.
